I want to know if is ok to use two different GPU in a motherboard? Do they both have to be the same? I want to buy the GTX 970 and I have the 770. I want to know if they both can be use at the same time, on the same motherboard?

SLI and Crossfire bridges are used to connect the cards and communicate with each other. Some gpus dont have an external bridge due to their architecture but that doesn't mean it does not exist. It just isn't external. So no you can't have these two cards work together.

OK, thanks! I saw that the Z87 motherboard is compatible with the MSI GTX 970, do you agreed 100%? I have the Z87 and I wanted to know if it was compatible, so I could get the GTX 970. Someone told me that it wasn't compatible, so I look it up by my self and I found it is compatible. I just want to be sure so when I replace the 770 with the 970.

Do you know the size of these two GPU in mm?

Now there's a problem. The GTX 970 that I was thinking isnot the one you looked for. Now, I look for the one you looked for and it has some different features than the one I was saying. Look and tel me which one is better.
