Graphics card question

So I shave an msi gaming x rx580 4gb an a gigabyte ga h110m s2h gsm anyways my question is when I pull up the gigabyte osd it says pcie16xgen3 on pcie16xgen1 could this be affecting performance is there anything I can do to fix my motherboard specs say the pcie 16x conforms to 3.0 or am I just worrying about nothing

This is quite normal. It will be gen 3.0, but when not doing much it drops to gen 1 (probably 1.1). You need to check it when the graphics card is actually working hard.
