Graphics card question

Hi!
My graphics card recently stopped working, so I got it checked by a friend and he figured only display port works as an output. currently I have my screen connected to a mobo integrated graphics. So because atm don't have a display port adapter is it possible to leave screen in integrated and run graphics card just for rendering, without screen connected ?

No. If your display is connected to the integrated graphics, it will either disable the PCIe card unless another display is connected to it or just won't start.
