Graphics card recommendation? Upgrading

Hi guys,

Don't have a whole lot of know how on computers but I've picked up a rig and looking to upgrade the graphics card as it's falling behind. Will this handle 4k gaming? as I've purchased a 4k monitor as I do a lot of vidoe editing with it - hoping to play some assassins creed origins. What would be a suitable graphic card that would fit? - I'm looking to spend about £200.

Even if you had a gtx 1080ti you would struggle to get 60fps playing aco in 4k. So if i was you i would get the best card possible and just run it at a lower resolution. Make sure and get an nvidia card aco is brutal on amd cards.

4k and £200? Not going to happen. You can get a good 1080p gpu for £200. For 4k gaming there is only one choice that can deliver 60fps at decent settings and that is the 1080Ti but that is >£650.

If I was to invest £800 give or take for a 1080ti or something similar would it be worth it - won't the other components bottleneck it? Either way I'll need to upgrade it to something as the current one doesn't even have a display port outlet and the monitor input is not hdmi 2.0 so I'm restricted to 30hz refresh rate.
