Question Graphics card resolution advice

Feb 18, 2020
I'm looking for a cheap graphics card (I won't be doing any gaming, just writing code and surfing the web mostly) that will handle a monitor at 2560 x 1080 and a second monitor at 1920 x 1080. I currently have an asus GeForce GT 210 589MHz 1GB PCI-E HDMI card which works for the second monitor but not the first (I've just upgraded to this monitor), I'm running linux mint on this machine. What should I be looking for? I can't find any info on what resolutions graphic cards support. Ideally I want to spend as little as possible to get the setup working, but I do want it to work and I don't want to buy something without knowing it will work with both of these monitors. Can anyone point me in the right direction here? Cheers!
