Question Graphics card RGB wont light up

Hey guys, I had this graphics card for a while now (evga gtx 1080 ftw hybrid) and when I installed it I noticed the RGB wasn't working on it, I wasn't too worried about it so I thought I would fix it later. Well recently I tried to get it working again, I tried using the precision X oc and the precision X1. none of them seem to be working. everything seems plugged in correctly, so I'm not sure what else it could be. Also, drivers are up to date. Hoping someone out here will know something. Thanks

Led's dont die easaly but the controller does. Did buy the gpu new?

Yeah, I bought new. I might open my pc today and put it on the other slot to see if that works.
