Hello.
Here's a very simple question I've been getting a lot of controversial answers to;
What is the safe temperature limit for a graphics card (MSI GTX 970 4g to be specific)?
I've had this thing for a month now and I overclocked it myself. When I play very GPU intensive games, such as Assassin's Creed: Unity, Watch_Dogs and Far Cry 3 (not trying to promote ubisoft here), the temperatures can peak up to a max of nearly 82 °C, with an average of sometimes up to 78 °C. Is this too high and could it do any harm? If so, how severe and how likely would damage to my graphics card be?
FYI, when I'm just doing random crap on the internet, it never gets above 50 °C after having cooled down from a game.
Cheers,
