[SOLVED] Graphics card seems undetectable as working at all what can i do ?

hiya everyone. i have today received my pre built pc and my parts that i ordered as a way to upgrade the pc. i was using integrated gpu of vega 8 and now have installed the radeon rx580 however while it is detected as being there, it is not being used for anything as stated on the amd software centre saying vram 2. 0 percent and VRAM 2 . 0 percent. it says that the graphics card drivers are up to date and i have no clue what it is i can do. i am absolutely desperate for help ! thank you.

yes, make sure the display is connected to the ports on the back of the new GPU. not the motherboard's I/O plate ports.
