Graphics card stuck in PCI-E slot; won't change position, tab refuses to go down

Graphics card: MSI - GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB GT OCV1 Video Card
Motherboard: MSI - B350M PRO-VD PLUS Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard

I'm building a new PC and I slotted the graphics card onto the board, only to realize that there were a few cables left to fit that I could not get in while the graphics card was still in place. So I tried to remove the graphics card: I unscrewed it from the case and then lifted it up from that end. (I think I thought about pushing down the tab, but I thought the card was covering it and that I couldn't reach it.) That one end came out well, kind of, but the end near the tab is stuck in there. The card won't come out, but it won't go back in, either. I've tried pushing the tab down, but it's REALLY gripping the graphics card because it feels like the amount of pressure I'd have to apply would almost certainly break something.

Solution
Turns out it WAS wedged, but it was wedged on the case (the metal part where all the ports come out); not the motherboard. I finessed it back into place, and it popped out without any problems.
Sounds like the card has become wedged in by being tilted when you tried to remove it.
If you can't move it up or down your only option is to remove the motherboard, along with the GPU and take the GPU out once the motherboard is removed. It may very well happen that just removing the motherboard mounting screws will release the card enough for it to be removed, just be very careful not to slide the motherboard on the standoffs.
