Question Graphics card stuck in power save mode

Last night I was playing gta 5 when I started to get very heavy artifacts on my screen, which then lead to my computer to freeze. After my computer froze my monitor went into power save mode and my gpu fans were going at 100 rpm. I did a hard reset on my computer, then when I booted it up again the monitor kept going into power save mode. Keep in mind that since it’s stuck in power save mode that I can’t navigate anywhere on the screen. My graphics card is a gtx 1070, please help.

Your GPU sounds like its dead, it might also be a PSU problem, it would be helpful if you could list your specs.

Have you updated all NVIDIA drivers? Did you overclock your GPU at all?

You should try a new PSU, or card if possible.

14 gigs of ram
Asus Strix Gtx 1070
500w psu
AB350M motherboard

Before my computer got stuck in power save mode, all the Nvidia drivers were up to date and it was never overclocked.
