Issue:
Sometimes windows boots in 640x480 while normal is 1440x900 (resolution) and on gray color and DPI is very slow and when I go on device manager theres a triangle on the side of my gpu's name but when I restart it's fine.

Sometimes when I play games a sound like when plugging a new usb ina appears and then screen goes black but the pc is still on and sometimes there's still audio playing.

There are days that I play without black screen and sometimes there are many coming 5 min in game or so 5. the temp of my machine is very low: https://gyazo.com/3d18da4b5d25840417622e03fd8b80a3
and the build is new except PSU SSD and GPU

Some info
i5 6600k
asus strix 750 ti
asus z170 deluxe
tridentZ rgb 1416 MHz
250Gb ssd
750 watt psu
PC:https://gyazo.com/ef045a598b9855f1604d4ac86b6ffb72

issue:https://gyazo.com/ee0726a04898c0c183a7934cf0bfe815

I also got a video about it, excuse my bad english..
https://youtu.be/j9pY9__k_qg (just noticed i sound like peter parker from The Amazing Spider-Man 2012 lol)

Usefull Notes:
Black screen appears often when playing but also when idleing but not as often, more rarely
I have the latest gpu drivers
I have tried DDU
I have ran diagnosis programs and they show that my gpu is fine
The gpu doesnt use psu cables it drains from mobo
I have not tried doing anything with basic graphics card (when gpu drivers are unistalled) so I can not confirm it is the gpu
It worked fine til I put it in this machine (as said everything new except SSD PSU and GPU)
It happens when overlocking and even when I am not overclocking
I even tried switching monitors

If someone could help or suggest anything it would be awesome

Solution
I still think you should borrow a family/friend's GPU and test it. Faster than doing everything you find on the internet. Try another cable too.

BTW, your Z170 deluxe has both HDMI (right) and DP (left).

Also, I remember 'Secure Boot' from BIOS sometimes interfering with GPU upgrades. But it should cause problems only on prebuilt computers, on custom like yours.

You said you didn't upgrade the SSD. Does that mean you didn't reinstall windows for your new system?

I found a fix, download CAM and put power to 120% instead of 100% that is default, other people agreed (https://gyazo.com/0e6cdbfc7d33ceda1df97897869cfceb)
I will let you know if I face further issues, but dont be afraid on commenting more help is always better just in case

issue solved:
mobo or psu isnt transfering enough power to gpu and it shuts off (a safety option), by downloading cam and putting max power to 120% instead of 100% as default should fix it.

How i came up to think that is the solution?:
as I said earlier everything is new and the psu is 750 watts and it's only shutting off when doing smthin that relates on gpu.

It's 1 AM here. I might as well give comment before sleeping. Depending on the circumstances, your problem could be power delivery or failing GPU. If your 750Ti needed 20% extra power to work correctly, it could be failing because of old age. You have a very nice (colorful) build, GPU upgrade should come next.

I recommend a used 970/1050Ti/1060 or anything released after 700 series with 4GB or more VRAM.

Good luck and kudos on solving it.

You actually took some of your time to view this, thanking you is the least I could do, the 20% extra power is all CAM allows me it doesnt go over 20% for safety reasons and yes the gpu is about 4 years old I got a prebuild dell working pc and I just shuved that gpu in back then, and changed psu 1 year later but yes I have thought of a Zotac GTX 1080 Ti Mini but if you have other suggestions let me know, as quality is what I aim for instead of performance but ofc having the pc work first of all ;)

thanks again for taking the time to come by if I have further issues I will change the graphics card as the monitor is new a swell so I do believe its either the gpu or the display cables so I will change them both of further black screens arrive.

PS sorry for contacting you that late, I hope you have an amazing Monday :)

*EDIT
turns out 20% more power only made it worse so I did as the vid told me to: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cBj9u2binds decreased it down to 65% max power consumption instead of 120% hopefully that makes a difference tho it decreases about 5 to 10% performance, nbg

*2nd EDIT

nothing changed, so I turned overclock off I put it on power saving mode and in my power plans I put to balance, hopefully that works..

All GPUs with the same chip have nearly identical performance regardless of the manufacturer. Since you have a water cooled CPU, a water cooled GPU like MSI Seahawk or EVGA Hybrid would compliment it nicely. Otherwise, I recommend a 3 fan design for 1080Ti. But Zotac GTX 1080 Ti Mini is a good choice too.

Install MSI afterburner and do a major underclock. See what happens. If it doesn't fix it, test with another GPU.

Yea I've put max power to 60% and into my boot menu, its a gaming motherboard so its filled with overclock options, I use power saving mode then when booting into windows I lowered my max power on gpu and in power plans ive put it on Balanced instead of high and 2 hours in game no black screen. I will try again later today and ill keep you updated.

If black screen happens again i will try to lower core frequency like you suggested tho I'm fine with CAM it does as much as MSI afterburner only it can also control lights, give it a try!

if that doesnt fixes that, oh well I'm doomed :/

I'm back again, it doesnt help I wil try underclocking it now.... it went black screen after 5 minutes in windows log in screen... a windoes sound played then a usb sound played then monitor showed no signal.... I didnt even play anything.... does it still have to do with the power? could it be windows? can I even change how much power to put in my pciex slot?

my system : https://gyazo.com/42747f762e1ee28ef80e277f2c196143 as I said earlier my gpu drains power from the mobo, underclocking didnt help, turning vsync on didnt either, the gou isnt overheating I just dusted it before building pc, if theres an option to turn auto shut down of the gpu please let me know, I think it either has a false temp counter or it's not getting enough power and im glad to know its not windoes related, was about to reset pc.. and again, gpu was working fine on my old build and so it did with this, for a couple of hours then black screen issues started happening about 30 min when idleing ro 5 min in game.

I have tried underclocking power saving mode, overclocking with high performance power mode nothing seems to be working but I am pretty sure I would be able to fix it if I turned auto shut down off somehow... my mobo model is asus z170 deluxe and I have an asus strix 750 ti

also just in case I need a new gpu, I found a cheap one on 250 usd : ASUS Rog STRIX-GTX1050TI-O4G-Gaming is it a good one or DO i have to get to the 300-400 range?

*edit I found thsi video and I followed what he showed me, ill let you know if anything worked (he told me to put maximum prossecor rate to 65% instead of 100% if im not facing over heat issues, so I did cuz my gpu stays at 30 to 40 not over 45 my build is based on cooling..)

*2nd edit didnt help either I seriously do not know what is happening. sometimes windoes boots into gray color and low resolution I am blank, not sure if it has to do with power options either. and once my system didnt read my boot device but that was only once so i'm really curious might it be windows?

It's better than 750Ti but I still recommend a 1060 6GB minimum. Also, 1050Ti costs below 200USD.

BTW, did you try onboard video port? I found nothing on your previous post.

I will try plugging it into my HDMI my iGPU that is on mobo asus z170 deluxe and if issue still accours then I will try re connecting my SSD and make sure cables are in correctly and if it still happens it shouldnt be a gpu issue or what? also, when I use iGPU do i need to take my external gpu out or can I just leave it in? ill leave it in for now, btw take a look at these thread comments :
https://gyazo.com/db10d6ba054b294794d38855a90d96c2
https://gyazo.com/9025076dc2d54050945fae09778a3b6c

*update I sadly cant because I do not have a DP cable but i noticed when i plug the cable it it makes the exact same noise it makes when it loses signal, could it be the cable? but how would it explain the strange boot up sometimes (picture linked earlier)? when im listening to music and I lose signal I can still click alt f4 to close it sometimes yet theres no signal.. also how would it explain losign signal often when playing but not as often when idleing and would resetting bios help at all?

I did reinstall windoes and I still have its usb boot thingie I used, tho it just did the signal lose again, but instead it glitched to a yellow greenish color and stood there for ever so I restarted.

I will borrow a gpu and try it or try and find a display port or hdmi ans I got a DVI cable at the momment, and let you updated but for now I will attemt resetting... (sorry if I said I had HDMI I meant DVI but I do have an extansion that has a DVI input and a HDMI output but it doesnt post or shows signal so I think its broken too...)

Updating again, gpu still turns off and I am 100% sure it is the gpu because the fans stop working but pc remains on and audio is still playing in backgroun.
possible fixes I came up with:

1)New gpu
2)a way to force the gpu not to shut down
3)huge underclock

ram can not be the issue or the psu either as it is 750 watts, windows have just been reset and I have not downloaded any drivers this time. If you still suggest MSI afterburner for underclock please let me know I will try power saving options if that doesnt work, seems like new gpu is the only option...

My windows is terribly slow now and when I'm on chrome it displays the aw snap thing and sometimes windows wont respond when i go onto the search bar or open a program it will be hanging for 1 or 2 minutes, ill just leave it run or try and play to see if black screen appears, if it does then I have a problem with my windows and my gpu.... I am literally doomed. from a working pc that cant play games or gets black screen every once in a while, to an unusable pc.... I AM DOOMED.
