Hi guys!

I have a computer with AMD X2 5200+ processor running@2.7GHz and 4GB DDR2 RAM on a ASUS M2N68-AM motherboard. I want to buy a graphics card that doesn't bottleneck the CPU. I will not be upgrading anything else on my system except maybe HDD. It has a PSU of 300W.

Please suggest me a GPU that fits my system. I do not overclock and nor will do in the future.

5670 or gtx 440 for you. Will be the top end that will not be hampered as much by your slower cpu. It shouldn't reqire anything bigger Maybe ar 450gts but im pretty sure even that would be bottlenecked. 5770/550ti or better will be held back quite a bit.

but as far as the psu goes you should be able to power them. But it doesn't look like your Motherboard has pcie v2 so they wouldn't get the needed power.

The other cards I mentioned all require more power than your PSU can handle.

A 4670 should run on that PSU

Thanks guys I think 5670 is good, What about the memory of the card? Will a 512MB do fine? I will be using the same resolution for future.
Also my motherboard is PCIE1.0 only, will it make any difference if using a 2.0 card?

Agreed, the 5670 is not even powerful enough to utilize 1GB of memory, just make sure u get a GDDR5 and PCI-E 2.0 card
I'm pretty suere all of the 5xxx series are 2.1 cards, regardless of what the manufacturer puts on the box, at least the reference versions are. Cant remember where i read that, but it it true I believe.
