[SOLVED] Graphics Card Suggestion

I am currently running a GTX 1050 TI in my PC. I really didn't have any problems with it until I recently bought a 32" monitor. The only game that I have issues with runnig currently is Forza Horizon 4. It lags even with very low graphics. So I am considering buying a new GPU, but I am not sure about which one yet. I am mostly intrested in the GTX 1660 TI 6GB, but I am concerned that I will need to upgrade again within a years time, due to more demanding games to come. Do you think that the GTX 1660 TI will be a good choice or will I still need to upgrade within a year.

CPU - i5 8600K 3.6gHz
RAM - 8GB (Will add another 8 Gb soon)

Do you know the exact PSU model by any chance?

Also what is your budget for an upgrade? The 1660 ti would be ok for 1440P but you may want something a bit stronger for higher graphic settings for a bit longer.

Difficult to recommend a GPU without knowing the exact PSU model but even if you had to replace it you could get the 1660 Super which performs fairly close to the 1660 ti for a bit cheaper which allows you to get a good PSU.

I really wouldn't game on a VS PSU as there really not good quality wise and are Corsair's lowest quality unit. The CXM is a much better unit and would safely power the system while gaming.

The performance difference between the 1660S & 1660 ti is very minimal but the price difference is like 40 euros.

I am not really concerned about my PSU ATM, maybe I will look into a better one in the future as it hasn't really given me any problems. The only thing that is affecting me is the graphics because I am using a higher resolution now. Is there something better than the 1660 series that is within my budget?

The next best thing besides the 1660S/ti is the RX 5700 but that with I definently wouldn't use it on that VS PSU, plus its a bit above budget at around 340 euros.

I am not interested in buying anything eighter from Nvidia because I am more familiar with Nvidia GPUs

From Nvidia 1660 ti/S it goes 2060 >2060S/2070 > 2070S > etc.
