Graphics card supported models.

I'd like to update the graphics card on my Dell L502x laptop. But I want to know whether my choice is supported by my motherboard or not. I tried finding my motherboard's model and it says Dell 0YR8NN. I don't know where to go from there. Any help?

Ah, I missed the nVidia GPU in the tech specs. Well, it's likely the GPU is soldered into the motherboard in which case you won't be able to replace it. If it was possible, you'd have to completely disassemble most of the laptop and then go about trying to find some mobile GPU that magically fits the exact form factor (not likely to exist). In short, if it's even possible, which I doubt, it wouldn't be worth the trouble. For the RAM, if...

Sorry, I'm not sure I understand what desreet means. It has the Intel graphics but also an Nvidia. Can't the second one be replaced? Also how do I find out if single 8gb ram is supported?
