Yes, if you don't believe me then do some research.

With the 10xx series, only the 1070 and higher support sli. The 1060 and lower do not, so your 1050ti will not support sli. However do not mistake that for multiple gpu support, which is native to DX12 and will actually use both cards. It just will not be SLI as such which requires an sli bridge between the cards, which attaches to sli connections on the opposite end from the power connector.
