Graphics card to go with AMD A6 5400K?

I know that there are certain ones that can be crossfired with it, but can you get just a GPU thats better than the ones that the A6 can Crossfire with? Say I got like a Radeon 7870, will that just cancel out the built in graphics in the APU? Helpppppp.

Yes, but first make sure you have updated your bios. After you have done that you can install the card (7870) and install all the most upto date drivers from there website. It will then not use the on board graphics (APU) and it will use the 7870 when you put the signal cables in (HDMI/DVI/VGA)

The bios should be updated anyway but the GPU could more efficient if he downloads the bios updates as it will work better with his GPU.

Could I get anything bigger than a 7870? Or will the A6 bottle neck it?

7870 or equivalent is big enough. too "big" maybe. anything else (bigger) is a waste of money.
