Question Graphics card troubles.

so, I want a new graphics card that can handle Minecraft on my windows 10 Dell pc. Does this graphics card: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/1Guhj fit into the Dell pc? If not, please tell me a cheap graphics card which does fit and supports Minecraft. I don't know if this is useful, but on the top of the pc it says "OptiPlex 780" Thanks!

Check the linker to see which format you got, mini town? or SFF?

If you got the mini town, here is the inside of the computer https://tshop.r10s.com/7e4/c5a/6ae8/add2/70e6/2103/75c1/1119e88dc654ab3a295add.jpg you can see the heatsink cover will block the GPU, that mean you can buy the single slot GPU.

Also in the same linker, you can see the MT pc has the 305W PSU, so if you got the MT OptiPlex 780 , and you don't want to buy other PSU, something like gt 1030, or RX 550.

If you got the SSF OptiPlex 780 with 235W, you may still use the single slot low profile gt1030 too.

And one more, because the dell is old, you may need to update the BIOS so that the dell pc may recognize the newer GPU.

First, which PC did you have? if you want to upgrade the GPU for the OEM ( original equipment manufacturer ) computer, like dell, HP, etc. you may or may not have problem, because some of them have other format motherboard and the case, like your OptiPlex 780.
