Graphics Card Troubles

Hi, and thank you in advance for the help!
I recently went out and bought a new graphics card (listed below) to improve my PC a bit for gaming. After installing the new card, all I would get on my monitor was a screen saying "No Signal" and then would go to power-saving mode. I then tried uninstalling my integrated card first, same thing. I then went into the BIOS and confirmed that the default was PCI-E and not Onboard. Still would not work. I then went back to the BIOS and set it to Onboard, installed the graphics card, and started up the computer. Here the computer was running fine (off the integrated graphics with the new one set up inside the copmuter), but when I went to uninstall the old one the same problem persisted. I've tried installing the drivers beforehand with no luck, and I'm thinking it's possibly my connection? The new card doesn't have a VGA output, only a DVI-I Dual-link, HDMI, and DisplayPort outputs. So, the graphics card is running through a DVI-A to VGA adapter, and then to my monitor. Could this be the problem? or am I missing something?

Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 840T 2.90 GHz
Upgraded PSU: Dynex 52-Watt ATX Power Supply
Integrated Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 4200
New Graphics: XFX Radeon HD 6670

Some Radeon 6 series aren't able to convert a digital output into an analog. If it's not working I'd suggest trying a DVI capable monitor, or using an HDMI cable and plugging in to your HDTV(if you have one). Otherwise, whether the card is working or not, it's not working for you. I'd send it back if that's the case.

Okay Thank you very much for your help! never thought that the card couldn't put that out Just plugged it into my TV with an HDMI cable and it's working perfectly... Already bought the card, new PSU, and RAM... guess I'll be buying a new monitor too. Thanks again for your help!
