I am building my own computer for the first time, and am having some trouble. I have got everything hooked up and ready to boot, but when ever i turn it on. The graphics card will not start up.
My specs are:
CPU: AMD Athlon II x4 760k
RAM:G.Skill sniper 1600
MOBO: fm2-a75ma-p33
GPU: Gigabyte r9 270x
If there is anything else you need to know about then ask me.

Solution
I don't think it's a driver issue. In order to update the driver the system has to detect the card. You just might have a bad card. I would contact gigabit for more troubleshooting assistance.

Is the gpu hooked up to the power supply?

If so, what's your wattage.on your PSU?

Do u hear any sounds, lights coming on the gpu?

Make sure the card is in a fully supported pcie express slot X16 and plugged in all the way in.

Everything is hooked up correctly. I contacted one of my friends, and they said it could be the drivers. What do you think?
