Graphics card: AMD Radeon R9 390

Hey guys,

I've had my graphics card for about 15 months, all has been going well since I got it. In fact, it was working earlier today, but when I opened my computer this evening, I didn't get a signal on the monitor (monitor plugged into GPU)

When I plugged the monitor in the motherboard, I managed to get signal and everything was working fine but only getting around 10 FPS when trying to play games which is obviously not ideal

The fans turn on in the GPU but there is simply no signal when it's directly connected to the monitor, doesn't work on HDMI or DVI

Any ideas or suggestions as to why this is happening would be fantastic

Thank you so much in advance for any help

I would start with the basics. Try reseating the graphics card, make sure the power supply cables are connected properly, at the card and at the psu. If that doesn't work, you could try inserting the card in another pcie slot. Alternatively, if you had an old graphics card laying around you could try that one to rule out the mobo/psu.
So windows boot successfully. That's good.
Reminds my case more than a year ago. It occured my gtx 660 died. Luckily it was still under warranty. I suspected my middle tier PSU, but today it happened to me again, even though there was no gpu inserted. The difference in my case is windows didn't boot, so probably my MB is getting ready to the heaven of hardware.
Advise? Try your GPU in another rig. Would be pitty if such a high-end card died.
