500 gb hard disk...... plz recommend some good cards for mid to high range gaming

its DDR5 but the motherboard i have seems to be supporting DDR3??? is it so??

DDR3 is for the motherboard D-Ram, where the DDR5 ram is on the graphics card itself(right now in this case, possibly not always). No compatibility issues with that.

See this thread.. get a 2GB card for 1080p gaming.. Also, Crysis 3 will run only in minimum settings as said by Game-debate.com
Change the settings as "minimum, recommended and Hi-performance" in tht website (link) and see what you need..

Depends on what settings. That budget is too low for any high settings on those games in 1080p
If the settings are low enough, 1gb might cut it and run it smoothly.
If you think about it - 4k is 4x1080p, but people think 3/4gb is enough for it(at least for low settings), when they think 2gb is not enough for 1080p? Where is the logic.

Thats more right, but mid-high settings for 6k inr, at 1080P i dont think its gonna happen. Thats my opinion.
Increase your budget if you need to get higher settings than low-mid in crysis 3 at 1080p

Minimum settings will also be fine. In good games, the gameplay should be actionpacked enough and good enough, that you almost wont notice unless you are the kind of guy that is really into graphics.
