Graphics card underperforming?

So I bought a gtx 1060 asus 6gb and I have been playing Overwatch for a while with it and then I started playing rainbow six seige. I was consistently getting frame drops at all low settings, I even watched video of a guy with the same card and with a i5 3570 on ultra and getting close to the same frames I get on low.
