Question Graphics Card Update only or more?

Hey gang! I play World of Warcraft, no other games. I have two monitors. While playing WoW I usually have Netflix of Amazon Prime playing on the other monitor. Everything has been fine until recently. I've had a few BSOD. The sound on Netflix/YouTube/Prime will suddenly stutter and/or sound like a robot. I'm having a lot of lag on my system overall. I've updated drivers, I've rebooted a million times. I'm starting to think it's time for my graphics card to be upgraded.

I guess my question is: Do I upgrade the graphics card only or do I need to get a new motherboard and CPU as well??

Current build:
AMD Phenom II X6 1090T
16GB ram
AMD Radeon 7800 Series graphics card
850 Watt power supply

Any advice would be appreciated!!

I have a simular problem as OP. If I watch netflix while running a game the Netflix sound goes brrrrrrpp for a second when Graphics load in the game. Sometimes it BSOD due to dxgmms2.sys.

It ONLY happens if netflix is running, I can youtube while gaming. Netflix must use some wierd codec or something since it only happens With netflix. I run it from browser, usually Edge. But happens with Chrome too.

i7-8700k
GTX 1080
16GB RAM
1000W PSU

Nothing overclocked.
