Graphics Card upgrade and PSU issue

Hello,

I recently had my Atx-TL500W-BK power supply blow on me. I attempted an old power supply that i got from a friend, only to find out that it doesnt have the proper connectors, or even the proper reach for my cpu.

I also recieved a new video card from my friend. It is a Radeon HD 7770.

I looked at the blown power supplys connectors and realized that there isnt a 6 pin pcie connector on it anyways for the new video card.

My question is.... Which PSU should i replace the Atx-tl500w-bk with in order to be able to use the new video card. I should also mention that I am looking to go as cheap as possible, since the actual cpu build isnt very good anyways. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

500 Watts is enough to power your Gpu. Try to find a 6 pin psu if you can, or use a 8-pin to 6-pin cable then connect it to the PCIe cable.

The suggested power supply is a 450 watt minimum power supply. I would look for a 500- 550 watt power supply .

The cheapest I'd recommend for a cheap system and cheap videocard is the EVGA 430W PSU. It should handle your system well enough.
