Hey I've got a budget of $250 Australian dollars and was wondering what graphics card upgrades I can buy for my pc. I'm looking at this card here:

https://www.amazon.com/ZOTAC-DisplayPort-Dual-Link-Graphics-ZT-P10510A-10L/dp/B01MCU1ERO/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&qid=1479076461&sr=8-1&keywords=zotac%2Bgtx%2B1050%2Bti&linkCode=sl1&tag=instafuze-20&linkId=d9767fe66efac8c60fc068fe619b7e0a&th=1

However I am not sure if it will work with my 240w power supply.

If it doesn't what other cards would work well? I have a small form factor computer and am not worried about drilling a cutout for a full height card to fit in it.

Thanks.

I've done this very thing, on many systems through the years. From a Dell 8200 p4 with rd ram and a 250 watt funky wired standard 24 pin propriety dell PSU with a 300 watt recommended agp 9800 pro. To a 750TI with a pico itx 200w dc-dc power supply using a gateway fx laptop charger in a htpc.

Pc brand and model would be nice, but here is an article with a 240watt dell and 1050ti. Testing showed the 1050 ti added 46 watts during gaming.

I don't think any decent card will work with a 240watt psu. most minimum is 430

I think you should be fine, that 1050TI has no 6 pin, so it draws up to 75 watts right from the pci express x16 slot. Calls for a 300, but as long as you are not totally loaded up with multiple drives you should be fine mainboard, cpu, ssd and hdd and optical adding the 75w gpu should not wreck the 240W

Except for the part that most likely the 240 watt unit only puts out 200 watts. Cheap OEM unit. Degradation over time. Etc.

Try to be as honest and knowledgeable with people here as you can. It will be sad when the person gets the card and its doesn't work.
