graphics card upgrade on current motherboard

hello all, I'm new to pc gaming I want and need to upgrade my graphics card. so here are the specs on what I have

mainboard-- M5A78L-M PLUS/USB3
chipset- AMD 780G
southbridge- AMD SB700
LPCIO- ITE IT8728

has 8gb ram and its DDR3 240PIN

has a AMD FX-6300 CPU

current graphics card --AMD Radeon R7 240

i was told i can upgrade the GPU but might bottle neck the CPU and i would need a bigger PCU i would like to get a card that will not bottle neck the CPU if possible

1050ti/1060 or one of the newer amd gpu will work fine as long as your power supply has the wattage. post the model and wattage of your unit. the only other issue you may have to update the mb bios for newer efi gpu to boot.

I know its a 450 watt which prob not enough to power a GPU upgrade
