So to start off this is my current build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/PwnDP3

I was thinking of upgrading the graphics card for one of the memorial day sales like a 2070
(like this one: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=14-487-412&Ignorebbr=true
or this one: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=14-500-444&Ignorebbr=true)
I was personally gonna go for the EVGA because they haven't let me down for my last 2 cards.

So I was wondering should I get one of these? Spring for a 2080 that's hopefully not much more expensive or should I wait for the next architecture?

Also now that I think about it maybe I should upgrade my power supply too? I've had the same one for almost 7 years but I haven't had any issues with it yet.

The 2070 is a good choice for the price & if your gaming at 1080P I'd consider a upgrade to 1440P or 3440x1440P if your games support 21:9 as that would be a good pairing. The PSU should be ok with the new GPU.
I have 3 144hz monitors. So you think J should get a 2080 for a bit more? And I was more worried about the age of the psu. I can make a different thread about it though.

If you need the performance of the 2080 then go for it but personally I find it hard to justify the extra $200 for it. You may want to consider looking at benchmarks of the games you play to see if it's worth it for you. As for the PSU it is a bit dated and if you do have the spare cash then I would go for the Seasonic Focus Gold 650W, it's one of the best PSU's out there and has a 10 year warranty.
