i just recently built myself a gaming computer, of course not having all of the higher-end parts, considering im on a budget. i don't have a graphics card in my computer other than the one that came with the motherboard. fps is fine on low settings for most games, but it'd be great to be able to run smoothly on higher settings.
current graphics: AMD radeon r7 graphics
i'm going on a budget of around $300, and i had a certain card in mind, but don't know if it'd be much of an improvement, or if anyone knows of a better one around the same price?

processor: AMD A12-9800 RADEON R7, 12 COMPUTE CORES 4C+8G
memory: 8GB (brand is patriot i believe)
motherboard: can't recall specifics, but it's msi. if its needed, i can find out the rest.
edit: i almost forgot the power supply, which i believe is 500w.
