I have an older computer don't really have a budget to upgrade to a newer one yet but could maybe spend a couple hundred to upgrade the graphics card IF it would be worthwhile. I currently have a Dell XPS 8700. i7-3770 3.4 ghz processor. 12 gb of ram(not sure the brand). Has a 460w PS, and i currently have a Nvidia Geforce GT 730 GPU. Is there a GPU upgrade that would be worthwhile or should i just wait to see if I can save for a new tower. Not worried about anything other than 1080p gaming if that helps. Just want something that will play some of my games at something other than low or medium without 4 fps.

Ok does it matter the name brand of the gtx 1050 ti? It seems to me like there's several different manufacturers of that model or am I just that clueless lol. Nvidia, EVGA, MSI, Gigabyte all seem to have a version or is it all the same?

Brand name doesn't matter and there are some 1050ti cards that need extra power which are usually the OC edition ones and that have multiple fans. When you pick one you should go onto the manufacturer's site and check just in case.

Ok just to make sure I found one for a relatively decent price(I think?) It says mini so just making sure its not a special one for laptops or something. https://www.amazon.ca/GeForce-DisplayPort-128-bit-Graphic-ZT-P10510A-10L/dp/B01MCU1ERO/ref=asc_df_B01MCU1ERO/?tag=googleshopc0c-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=293014682632&hvpos=1o2&hvnetw=g&hvrand=14099571724522355754&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9001285&hvtargid=pla-318315597266&psc=1

Mini just means it can fit into really small cases. The price is alright as well.
