Guys , I want to upgrade my graphics card but I'm not really sure which one to buy exactly , I was heading to a GTX 1080 ti or an RTX 2060 but seems like they're out of stock in every shop in my area. Can you suggest a good graphic card for gaming which can keeps my games at 100+ fps and that would not heat up very quickly? I must say that I use a VS248 (1920x1080@60Hz) monitor if that matters in some way.
My PC :
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 2700
SSD : Samsung 970 EVO Series 250GB PCI Express x4 M.2 2280
RAM : Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 16GB DDR4 3000MHz CL15 Dual Channel Kit
Motherboard : ASUS TUF B450-PRO GAMING
PSU : High Power HPG-600BR-H14S 600W

As I've seen online and at people reviews , the RTX 2080 is better on a 1440p high refresh rate , I mean , the FPS were higher at 1440p than 1080p

Now I have seen some RTX (Ray Tracing specifically) numbers that show the higher end cards are better tuned for higher resolutions. That could very well be intentional on the part of the hardware design. These are early days on both the games and the drivers. Everyone is still practically beta testing it for Nvidia and the game developers so that might not remain true.

You would have to look at specifically what they did for testing. Same settings, smaller resolution will always be less of a burden on the GPU. Now they might have had CPU bottlenecks start to poke through, only so...

Quite different categories the RTX2060 and the GTX1080Ti.

RTX2060 is more like a GTX1070 or GTX1070Ti and the GTX1080Ti is on par with an RTX2080.

100FPS at what resolution? How much do you want the spend?

Honestly you want the GPU to heat up quickly, that means it is trying to output as much as possible. What you want is a steady temperature under load without it being too loud. That would lean you to the more premium cards with the better coolers.

100+ FPS at full hd resolution (1920x1080) but at a medium-range budget . I had a problem with my last graphics card ( Nvidia GeForce GTX 770 Gainward ) and it was all the time at 60+ celsius degrees so now I'm a bit scared to not happen again with the new one.

60+ celcius is very good for a GPU. Most Nvidia cards these days have their throttle point set at 83C which is where you would expect to find them for maximum performance. The cards that can stay UNDER their throttle points means their cooling is good enough to counteract the heat produced. They will not run as cool as non-overclocked CPUs. (~65W vs 250W+, that is why the coolers on GPUs are so large)

RTX2070 or RTX2080 is about right for 1080p high refresh.

If you are playing at 1080P then a RTX 2070 would be good.

Your CPU will bottleneck either a GTX 1080Ti or RTX 2080, AMD doesn't make a CPU that can keep up with a GTX 1080Ti at 1080P (RTX 2080).

There is a massive difference in performance between the RTX 2060 and GTX 1080Ti.... And I mean MASSIVE.

There was also a little bit of a sliding scale as they didn't enable the same feature set for the RTX2060 that they did for the RTX2070, and even vs the RTX2080Ti.

Now running at 1440p you could do things like turn of AA since you have more pixels to make edges less noticeable, whereas on the lower resolution you might want it on to smooth around the edges of the lower pixel count. So maintaining quality while increasing performance at higher resolutions is certainly a thing you can setup, it is not a fair test to compare cards at different settings.

I imagine that they will release a lot of drivers fixes for it or a lot of updates so that makes me a little assured about RTX 2080. I'm sure that it will improve with the time passing and with the NVIDIA updates and bug fixes or so. Thank you!
