Graphics card upgrade

Hey there, Looking to upgrade my cards card. But one of my friends is saying I need to upgrade my power supply also at the same time. I am wondering is there a way of getting a very good graphics card (around £200) without upgrading my power supply aswell?

Here is my specs

Processor (CPU) Intel® Core™i7 Quad Core Processor i7-3770K (3.5GHz) 8MB Cache

Motherboard: ASUS® MAXIMUS V GENE: M-ATX, INTEL Z77 ROG MOTHERBOARD

Memory (RAM): 32GB KINGSTON HYPERX BEAST DUAL-DDR3 1866MHz X.M.P (4 x 8GB KIT)

Graphics Card: 1GB NVIDIA GEFORCE 210 - DVI, HDMI, VGA

Power Supply: 450W Quiet 80 PLUS Dual Rail PSU + 120mm Case Fan

Hd 7850 or gtx 660 will be good.please tell your +12v amperage ratings on psu sticker.

Well if it is a high quality brand of PSU then i would say go get a 7850 or GTX 660 but i doubt it is and it is not single rail (usually dual rail PSU's are older ones and are not to be trusted under load). I do not know the prices in the UK sorry but i could see you being able to get a 7870 ghz eddition or 7950, or GTX 660 Ti with 200 of your currency.

the be quiet brand of psu has recently become a very good teir 2 psu. after 2011.

i see in your link to the psu under specifications it says 25A on the 12v...thats kinda low.
