Graphics card/Video card

So, Recently I downloaded a game from steam called Gotham City Impostors. When it was finish downloading clicked play it said "This current video card is unsupported". I have intel(R) g33/g31 express chipset family

That basically means the Intel G33/G31 is not capable of playing the game. You need to install a card that is capable of playing the game.

I cannot easily find the system requirements for the game, so I'm guessing it can be "playable" and any current video card selling for $75 or more.

Intel don't do video cards that support 3d acceleration. Vast majority of video games need something a little more powerful. Recommended spec for "Gotham City Imposters" is a Geforce 8800 or a Radeon X1900. These cards are a good 3-4 years old. Personally, I would be looking at the GTX 550Ti or Radeon 6770 as a minimum in todays cards.

Or if you have to go cheap get a Radeon 5670.
