graphics card wont fit

Bought a graphics card, now it wont seem to fit into my motherboard, im not sure if its either that the mother board is too small or if the card is too big does anyone have any advice on what could be done?
Specs:

amd a10 6800k apu
2x HyperX Fury 4gb Ram cards
600w corsair power supply
gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-HD3 Motherboard
1tb WD harddrive.
Case = Cit Spectre Black

How do you not know if the card is too big?
The motheboard size makes no difference.

It either fits in the case, or doesn't fit. Nothing to do with the motherboard.

Whats the make and model of the video card you are trying to install?

I looked up your motherboard, it should fit. You aren't using the middle long slot are you? You need to use the top one. Should just plug in.
