You can buy an external solution. Buy a GPU, PSU, USB Wifi adapter (because we will need the slot your current one is in), a graphics card dock, and an external monitor.

Then open the laptop, remove the wifi adapter, modify the case to fit the grahics card dock cable thru, and plug it into the wifi adapter slot & reassemble the case.

Assemble the external components (GPU into the dock, PSU connected to the Dock & GPU, GPU to the monitor) power it all up, Power up the laptop & install drivers. And hope it all works. Congratulations, you should now be able to game with a PCIE x1 link to your GPU & External monitor, just nbot as good as witha full x16 connection to the card.

And don't forget to plug in the usb wifi adapter so you can have internet on your laptop.

Yeah, this is why 'Sell the laptop and buy a gaming one" is often recommended.
