Im buying new graphics card for my pc i want it to be under $80 but it needs a easy installation process. It would be ideal if it could run minecraft at 200 fps my cpu is a AMD Athlon Quad-Core APU Athlon 5370 with Radeon R3 Series i was wondering what a good graphics card would be?

Solution

there only reason for high fps in minecraft of like more than 150 is for mod and shader head room.
in this case a 750 ti is the best new card or a cheap used r9 270 or gtx 760 on ebay.
as for 200fps you need optifine to allow the multi core world load or you wont hit 200 fps

With the very limited specs you list and budget I don't see why 200fps is a goal. There is no way you have even a 144hz monitor if you can afford to get a decent GPU. List your full system specs. Better memory may give you a big jump with the current APU you have. If you have a prebuilt your motherboard may not have an open slot for a GPU or your PSU may not have the power to handle one.

no maybe he needed to talk to his family or make some money or something to get this new rig plus its been 2 months
maybe he had the money before and just only wanted to spend 80$ on it and use the other money for other things in his life outside the computer

also is this 6700k gtx 1080 rig only for minecraft?

If you could come up with at the least $2000 to build a new pc in a couple months why would you ever bother with a $80 card.
Here is a link to the day before this original thread was started asking for help on a prebuilt since his mom wont let him build one.

Budget was 1200 tops. Im betting mom ordered a all in one system ( PC monitor ect) and he had 80 bucks to upgrade with.
