graphics cards fans not spinning

I have just installed a new gtx 950 into my PC and hooked everything up. When I turn on my PC it starts up but then when I check on my graphics card the fans on it only spin for a second then stop then spin for a second again and the monitor won't turn on because of this. Can anyone please help?

Download MSI afterburner. It will work for any graphics card regardless of make. This software has a fan controller which is required sometimes for the fans to run. I had the same issue. You can set a custom fan curve and all.

What brand is the GPU? It probably has a custom fan curve setup. The only problem MSI afterburner solved was enabling you to set your own fan curve. The fans won't run all the time, only when they need too.
