[SOLVED] graphics cards out of stock?

Anyone know the reasoning behind cards being sold out all over? i cant seem to get one anywhere and i have been looking since december! im in the UK

not enough supply for the enormous demand, in turn we're left with inflated prices. it's really unfortunate as even much older cards have become quite expensive

Ah crazy, i have recently built my own PC and the only bit to finish it off i need is a card 🙁

the pandemic causing supply issue while at the same time more people buying console or building new PC instead of spending that money else where. and for the GPU market the third mining boom making things worse since miner also want to gobble all the new GPU for their mining farm.

Reuse your existing PC's GPU if it has something usable in it, use the IGP if you have one or buy the cheapest GPU you can live with and wait it out.

[SOLVED] - Why does it seem all the graphic cards are out of stock?

I am looking to upgrade my gpu to a RTX 3060 ti, or similar. But everywhere I look there is none in stock? I would like to purchase it at the regular price from established vendors, not from opportunistic sellers jacking up the price 300%. I'd like to keep my house after I bought the GPU. Why...
