Hi guys, when playing games for quite a while my screen randomly goes black but sound still runs for a few seconds. Thought the graphics card was overheating but the temp never gets above 75°. However I ran the case with the side panel off for a few weeks and no crashes. I've tried reinstalling the drivers and underclocking the gpu but still crashes when stressed. is the gpu failing? Any help would be appreciated

Windows 10?

Look in Reliability History and Event Viewer for error codes, warnings, and even informational events that correspond(ed) with the black screens.

Reliability History uses a timeline format that may make the problem stand out.

I.e. crashes before and up to the date when the side panel was removed.

After that date, no errors or a certain error or errors stopped appearing.

But may reappear when the system is now being stressed.

Event history shows 160 crashes of the same type. says kernel power but no details
