Graphics driver installation causes system restart

So this started happenimg from yesterday when i was playing gta v.My screen got frozen suddenly and i was getting green patches on the screen and pc would restart.Now i did a full os reinstall but now the graphics drivers are not getting installed ,the pc is gettimg forced restart at 4 % of driver install.The pc is booting perfectly without the driver even with the gpu intact.I tried installing in safe mode but when i restarted the pc,again got green stripes and the display wont come up.I have gtx 760 direct cu II oc.I have tried installing old drivers but same.

sounds like psu or gpu failure

do you have another system to test the gpu in?
