Hello all.

I just turned on my PC this morning and I am experiencing some issues. I turn on my PC, the resolution is all screwed up, my desktop apps are all over the place, my second monitor won't be detected, and whenever I try to open programs requiring my GPU it says no driver is installed. I tried re-installing my drivers and all this did was allow me to utilize my 144Hz refresh rate, which oddly is still only displayed as using "64Hz" as the only option. Could someone please help me with this?

PC Specs:

i7 4790k
Sapphire Radeon R9 390
Gigabyte Z97X-UD3H-BK
500gb samsung 850 evo ssd
1tb hdd
16gigs gskill ripjaws ram
xfx pro 750w PSU

Did any power outages happen that you are aware of? It is odd that it just happened out of the blue.

What OS are you using? Uninstall the driver from "programs and features", then go into the Device manager under display adapters, right click and hit uninstall.

If Windows picks up the native driver for the 390, use that to see if it makes a difference.

I went back to the AMD site and reinstalled the drivers and for some reason it worked that time... I have no clue why this happened. I was rendering an animation in Blender using Cycles with the GPU for a good 6 hours but I don't think this could've possibly caused any issues relating to software/drivers. No power outages that I was aware of, plus my PC is off when I don't use it anyways. Hopefully it doesn't happen again.
