I recently got an Nvidia GTX 650 2GB DDR5 Graphics Card. It does not have any specific brand, it is a pure Nvidia GTX. But after installing it on my computer and installing the latest driver i keep getting a "driver has stopped working and has recovered" error every five minutes, even when browsing through the internet.I have tested the graphics card on another computer and the same thing keeps happening. i have been trying to get a fix for a while now and have had no luck.
I would appreciate a fix for this as soon as possible. Thank You. (I had first bought an Acer Aspire M1860 Desktop and have been upgrading that desktop ever since, i have never changed the default motherboard and processor.)

My Computer Specs

-Intel Pentium G630 2.7GHz Processor ( I know the processor sucks but will be upgrading to i5 soon)
-4GB Kingston 1600MHz Ram x2 (Total 8GB Ram)
-Nvidia Geforce GTX 650 2GB DDR5 Graphics Card (Hardware ID= (PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0FC6&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_A1)
-Acer M1860 sandy bridge mother board. (At least that is what CPU-Z says.)

If anyone needs to see a picture of the graphics card just leave a comment.

It's a known issue with the last two drivers they released. What I do is disable hardware acceleration in Chrome while gaming, and flip it back on while browsing, especially for videos. The reason I haven't rolled back is because I still appreciate the latest driver optimizations for TW3.

I've read up on nvidia's forums. They're working on it. They're even asking people in the general area if they can come to their houses and witness it first hand. It's annoying, and while browsing, it seems to recover just fine. During gaming, it may or may not fully recover, and require a reboot.

I think you can rest easy about it being an issue on your end, especially if you go back two driver revisions and all is well then.

I got this graphics card from ebay as a gift from my uncle. so i cant return or exchange it. although i still dont want to rule this out as being a hardware problem because i know this is brand new. and i probably just dont want to lose hope. hehe 😛

I have actually tried almost every solution possible including that one but this error still comes up. this error even comes when im browsing or even at idle, i also tried rolling back the drivers on this and it actually made it worse and froze my computer. i again booted it back in safe mode and uninstalled and installed the latest drivers and the problem still persists. i have tried my brorthers ASUS gtx 650 and im thinking of buying that card as it wrks flawlessly.
But then again it would be much easier for me if i can fix the gtx i have on hand. But thanks for the help :)
