Graphics glitch when playing Skyrim

Hello, So I have been getting this annoying weird graphical glitch when I play Skyrim, it has only been happening lately. It happens randomly and it dont happen every time I play,It happens even on the lowest settings. The glitch goes away after I reload the game but like i said it will happen randomly again.

Another strange glitch is the grass or the grass shadows I couldnt tell which one it was but in one area and they turned red green one time.

I have had Skyrim for 2 years, my graphics card driver is up to date.

Intel core i5 CPU 3.20 GHz
8.00 GB RAM
64 bit
Nvidia GeForce 9500 GT

You have a pretty old graphics card. Try look for new drivers. If the problem persists it might just be a hardware problem which a new graphics card is the only solution to.

Nothing overclocked? Graphical glitches like that can happen on an unstable OC sometimes, is it only skyrim and no other game?

Skyrim is the most graphical demanding game I have, I dont think I have anything over clocked.. I havent changed anything all the years I have had my graphics card ,Skyrim has only been doing it the past few times I played,never before. I dont play many other games lately, but the other day I was playing Zoo Tycoon 2 and my PC froze, its never done that before while playing the game.

Other wise my PC acts fine I keep it clean inside and out and things up to date. I monitor my graphics card with Tech power GPU Z and it doesnt over heat. I know my grahpics card is old, could it just be its wearing out and I need a new one?

Do you have mod's installed?
This can cause some pretty weird stuff to happen.

Uninstall all mods and see if the problem is gone... ( you might lose saved games ).
