Keeping an eye on a sale for the EVGA GeForce GTX 650 1GB GDDR5 graphics card. Seeing it lately for $99 but I saw it had dropped to $79 a couple times, either way, I see that there is an XFX R7 250 1GB DDR5 card on sale for $79. And will be $69 after rebate.

Just going off $99 and $79, which is better? I'd be moving up from a Radeon HD 5670 1GB GDDR5. Is there a big difference between DDR and GDDR? I know 5 and better than 3 even when it's 2GB (3) vs 1GB (5)

Thanks in advance to those that help :)

The 650 is way better.

VRAM isn't something you need to be worried about unless you play games on more than 1 monitor, or you play games like Titanfall on maximum settings.

Good luck!
