Graphics Memory changes in bios won't apply in Windows/DISPLAY

Hi everyone,

I have been checking some forums,articles and videos on how we can increase dedicated video ram using bios.

I was able to change it from 64mb to 512mb however, when i checked the display on my laptop it still shows 128mb.

other people were able to manage to change it on their end, both bios and the display properties was changed.

SPECS:
ASUS x453SA
n3050 @1.60GHz 2 CPUs
Intel Graphics - updated
8gb ram
Windows 10 Home 64bit

That igpu has no dedicated vram, it uses system ram. That setting in bios just set the max system the os/driver can allocate to the igpu. The igpu is weak enough it will be tapped out before it needs more vram anyway.
