Graphics not working

Just got a new computer with a 2080 ti i9 32 gb ram an m.2 and Hard drive but the graphics card is not working/being read? When I check in bios it does not show up it says nothing detected. When I try to bolt my monitor from the gpu nothing a black screen. The fans are spinning on the gpu everything seems powered the picture just doesn’t show up. Any one that can help?
