Upgrading to a new mobo and I5 soon.

My current 6 yr. old gaming rig I built seems to have croaked about a day or 2 ago.

I had bought a 750gtx to replace an old 5xxx Radeon.

The day before I had been playing some chivalry medieval warfare and I got some crazy bad artifacts. I shit myself to be honest. So powered everything down.... Restart, artifacts again.

Took graphics card out and boot up. Seems alright. Put card back in. Boots up fine and I play some Diablo 3 with a buddy.

All working fine. But, sluggishly.

I call it a night and wake up the next day. Turn on old faithful. Starts up. No video.

Do a couple restarts finally get bios to pop up. Set cpu down to defaults w/o OCs. Restart. Fails to start and reach Windows Login screen.

Nothing but blackness.

Just took out my gpu again and tried starting up with monitor plugged into the Mobo once more. No cigar.

I'm assuming either the cpu, ram, or mobo finally called it quits.

Any insights?

As stated above. I plan on ordering my new case, motherboard, ram, cpu, heatsink and ssd.

Just hoping my gpu isn't fucked as it's not within budget to replace that so soon.

Also. I looked at the graphics card and haven't noticed any deformities. Wasn't producing noticeable noise or anything. Performed quite well for what it cost.

Psu seems fine. No grinding noises from it. 650w corsair 80 plus rated. Cpu was an unlocked phenom II X3 into a b45 @3.4ghz.
