Graphics power slows when idle

Hello!

I've been tearing my hair out for about two weeks on this issue and would like to find some input. Recently, I've noticed my graphics card slows way down after 10 minutes or so of inactivity. If I'm mining with it, I go from about 500 sol/s on zcash to about 80 - 90. If I afk from a game, I get a directx crash. Sometimes, I have to reboot after that because mining I get a "No cuda device found" error or directx fails to initialize for a game. I have modified power settings and installed new drivers. Anyone have any advice?

Nope, temps never rise above 72. I checked that first. lol.

Since your getting a DirectX crash have your tried (re)installing the newest drivers from Nvidia and maybe manually downloading the DirectX software?
