Here's a little background of my PC,

SPECS:

CPU: 3.5 GHz AMD FX-770K Processor
RAM: 8GB of DDR3 RAM
GPU: AMD Radeon R9 360 (2GB)

QUESTION:

Its a Lenovo Erazer X315, and the current graphics card doesn't run well running 20-40 fps with games like PUBG, Destiny 2, Far Cry 5, and other high demand games. it starts to run the fans fast because of heating up and ends up loosing frames. i'm willing to spend extra money on PSU's, or more RAM if needed. I'm in the market for a GTX 1060, but an upgrade is needed if i get it. also im not looking to spend over $500.

Solution
The FX CPU will always be the bottleneck, but if you plan to upgrade to a new system (motherboard, CPU, RAM), you can get the 1060 (6GB) with a new PSU, which will be fine for the next upgrade.
