Hi , i have a HP 8560p EliteBook , it has a 2nd gen i5 2540M , a AMD HD6470 1Gb DDr3 memory , and i was asking if it is possible for me to find a processor with an Intel HD graphics , put it in my laptop and have 2 graphics ?
Thanks in advance.

Solution
If you've installed both graphics drivers (Intel & Nvidia), the Nvidia discrete card may have died'
I'd like to say sorry if I was abrupt, but I never apologise. I just withdraw any offending comments, gladly

Well , you see , i know my laptop's configuration , and i know that that processor usually has a graphics , but i don't have two graphics in device manager , only the AMD one.

Do you now understand why am i asking this ?

Because i have a laptop that only has 1 graphics , but should have two , acording to processor specs from the internet.

The problem with dual laptop graphics is that it is sometimes very confusing. First, make sure that your laptop supports dual graphics (I've heard somewhere that it should be, but just double check). Second, use the right drivers. Third, contact the manufacturer for further assistance. Those are what I'm concerned.

According to HP , my laptop supports dual graphics , and according to Intel , this processor has an intel HD graphics.
So , either i can't see graphics because it is somehow disabled , either it is not available on this particular processor.

Few things about this.

A. is the system running fine?
Many issues are caused by someone trying to "fix" something when it's not an issue or is working properly. You asked a totally different question than your actual question, you were asking to find a processor to put in your laptops instead of asking "why do I not see the Intel video chip in device manager".

B. if it is, why mess with it?
If you think you will get better graphics with both that you can see in Device Manger, you are mistaken, they don't work together.

C. your system may not have switchable graphics that can use the Intel video card instead of the AMD one when on low graphics needs, in that case the Intel one will not be seen as it would be disabled and not used.
This is a review of the same system you have http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-HP-EliteBook-8560p-Notebook.55221.0.html, if you look at the CPUz and GPUz screenshots, under Graphics it only shows the AMD video, no Intel, so what you are seeing in yours is the exact same thing they see in the review laptop, which means it's probably normal unless the reviewer did not dig into things, which is not likely.

This is from the review "The dual-core CPU also contains a graphics card which is not called upon to work in this notebook. Instead of the integrated Intel HD Graphics, HP rely on an AMD Radeon HD 6470M. This has a core speed of 750 MHz and 1024 MB of its own DDR3 video memory."

In short, what you see is what you get and trying to get something else either won't work, or if you manage to get the Intel video working it will either do nothing or make things worse by possibly disabling the AMD video card which is faster. At best, you will get 0 benefit, at worst you will mess up the system, so trying to enable the Intel video in your laptop is not a good idea. Laptop models often have a lot of options for different models and the core specs for hardware can also change depending on application that the OEM configures. Just because you read that a BMW 3 series can have a giant full length sunroof and yours does not, does it mean that yours is hiding or is it simply that your particular model did not come with that option? It's really the same type of thing with your laptop.
