I got an old R9 270 2GB with an i5 4690. For months now on a certain fan speed % the fan would rattle or make some noise. (44-50%), so i decided to take the gpu apart and i put some oil on the bearings i believe its called or whatever and re-applied some thermal paste (some cheap one). The rattling noise is still there but its much less noticable. I dont remember the temps before i re-applied paste. BUt now the temps are around 65C in fortnite, 75-77 in PUBG. I ran Unigine heaven in a loop for 5 or 6 times. Temps stayed around 78,79C, max was 80C for a few seconds in the last scene only. Btw fan speed is set to 50% and the gpu is overclocked from 925 to 1050 on core and from 1400 to 1500 on the memory. Are temps okay?

Yeah i did set the fan speed manually. But i once played pubg and i forgot i did not change the fan speed it was 20% ,temps were 91C and i didnt experience any throttle.
